Sometimes making a decision can be an overwhelming experience, we don't know if it's going to be right or wrong. We begin to create monsters in our head that stop us from trusting ourselves and we worry about what others will say about our decisions and our actions. This is what we must forget, what others will say about our way of thinking, our actions and our DECISIONS.

Making a decision can change the way you see life, for example: recently, I made the decision to travel to a country I didn't know and today I can say that it was the best decision I have made because I met and got to know incredible people, I found a new family that is from all over the world, from Costa Rica, Austria, Brazil, Italy and many other places. Travelling to Jerusalem meant finding myself and learning that we are the ones who really say YES or NO. Those words are so basic but so important when making a decision that can change our lives. Thanks to this decision I was able to find out who I really am, where I want to go and with whom I want to continue my life. Jerusalem has changed many things that I feared. I made the decision to leave all the bad things there and start a new stage in my life, a stage of acceptance of what I had never had before.

Our vist to the church of Saint Peter Gallicantu was very special for me, I had a very strong feeling in my body, a strong feeling of pressure. Later, while talking, I was told why I had felt this way, at that moment I saw that in my life I had many ruptures, with my family, my emotions and many more and that's where I said: I don't want to live like this anymore. We went to the Sea of Galilee and I felt such an incredible peace in me that I didn't know how to explain it at that moment, I said I leave everything bad here, I apologize to those who I once offended and forgive those who once offended me. Those places were so important to me.

And now I see that a simple decision to buy a plane ticket to Jerusalem changed my life because I knew when to say: I want this in my life! Thanks to MSF I found a new family, new friends and above all self-respect.
