Weathervane

I am very emotional, and those emotions used to make me feel like a weather vane, depending on how the wind blew, that's how I felt, on a constant roller coaster.

So I walked through life, looking for answers and solutions in books, which I avidly devoured. I also approached different people, groups and philosophical schools. I learned a lot and I loved that, because, despite being very emotional, I had a very rational education and my brain was going a hundred thousand an hour, analyzing and saving or discarding the different knowledge to which it had access.

22 years ago my father passed away, and although I swore that I was prepared because he was very ill, I fell into depression.

I was fortunate that a friend invited me to receive some courses about Love and Universal Energy, which we currently know as Neural Stimulation.

The first thing they taught us was to breathe consciously and meditate in just 5 minutes!!

I did not think that was possible, because they had always told me that it was a much longer process, and of course, I, who have never been disciplined, tried, but I got bored and stopped doing it.

Oh surprise, I was able to calm my mind, even for a few minutes. I had to keep trying!! That was the beginning. With practice, I was able to spend more time in silence and find myself.

Meditating has made me stop being that weathervane, because it calms me down and I can better control my emotions. The problems continue, but my attitude is different, I no longer let myself be carried away by them.

My mother, who also loved to meditate, recently passed away, and my reaction has been very different. Her absence hurts me a lot and of course it has made me very sad, but I have been able to accept that it was her time, not get carried away by depression and move on.

My happiness depends on me, on how I decide to see life and act accordingly. Accept, thank and share are key words that, with meditation, have led me to be a more balanced and happy person.

This would not have been possible without La Jardinera, founder of Manos Sin Fronteras, who so generously and with so much love shared with us this blessed Teaching that has come to change the lives of thousands of people throughout the world, filling us with hope, even in the such difficult times that we are living.

And if that wasn't enough, she created the EU MEDITO program and the app, to bring the benefits of meditation to schools, institutions or companies for free.

In the Meditometer of the app right now we have just reached 20,000,000 minutes meditated for World Peace and we are going for more!!!

Thank you, a thousand thanks dear Jardinera!!
