The secrets of living

I learned a bit too late, the secrets of living, or perhaps not.

• That it is worth more to stay quiet than to be right
• What counts is what is inside you, in your heart
• A look can say everything
• We are all afraid of being ridiculed or being ignored and this is why we work so hard on making masks.
• Destroying is easy, but building/making something is hard
• What comes out of our mouth, represents what our heart is filled with
• Love is to give without expecting anything back
• You make your own happiness, no one else
• We are a product of the experiences of our childhood
• We forget how wonderful a sunrise is and the glory of a sunset
• If you let fear instill paralysis, you will miss out
• We always judge because of what we carry inside us
• We cannot live for others, so advice becomes leftovers
• It’s no use working so much
• It is necessary to catch a breath and enjoy the moment
• When you give, do not wait for a thank you, just feel happy
• In the end the only thing that counts are the moments shared.
• That when it is convenient, men fabricate God as a merciless being who punishes his children, when God is infinite love

Ahhh, how wonderful it would be to be 20 years old, with experience that only years give you, but it would mean to lose out on the wonderful journey that is life and discovering each of its secrets
