Unheard

No more violence against women - a poem for our voice

article preview

Desolate screams

only words lifted by the wind

like ash in the water now scattered

Burning and vivid memories

etched in the depths of my flesh

tear my limbs apart

and my tissues still bleeding

a girl's screams perforate

deafening silence

in my pain

Dirty fear death

resist in the passage of time

There are those who do not believe

Violence has erased love

annihilating life

annihilating the heart
