From self to being

I am more than happy to write this article for Manos, (they told me to keep it short and I don't know if I'll make it, I have the gift of synthesis only in things I don't love).

What to talk about? And how? Specially if the founder tells us that “wisdom lies in simplicity”? It would be easy to talk to you about me, trying not to be too self-centered. I am disabled from birth and, if the practice of Manos has given me something (yes, for me the whole association is a practice), among many others, it is that when you meditate nobody has limitations, when you do a Neural Stimulation treatment, there are no limits.

This leads me to two reflections: what is the central message, for me, of this association? What is its foundation?

Being the same while being different, because to practice and share both meditation and technique everyone is equal and from all points of view. You will understand well that, for me, who has an initial physical limitation, this is an absolute novelty, a discovery. A discovery of what, though? The discovery of what within us has no defects and, therefore, no physicality either, what Eastern philosophies would call the higher SELF, which in fact is reached through meditation, according to these currents.

But, Manos brings an absolute novelty, a risk, a responsibility that for the Western mind is unthinkable: that is, a technique where the self does not exist but the BEING that is inside and that current physics tells us is composed of energy. - the same as light bulbs, to understand each other.

What does this technique do? It not only tells you that you are the same, that you have no defects, but that you are a channel, because for five minutes what is the energy that you carry inside, that makes you up, and that makes you have an average temperature of 36 degrees, will come out of you, through the hands and it will bring you and whoever is receiving this royal energy back into harmony, which by nature cannot fail. That being real, it has real effects.

Which?

Since each one is made up of energy, each one has a frequency. Depending on how we are on the physical plane, this energy will have different effects, as is normal: a given potential corresponds to a given current and for each one it means physically feeling different effects.

But talking about a risk and a responsibility. The risk is of two natures, one egoic, and it is that I have this thing and you don't. Therefore, those who know it are valid and deserving and those who do not know it are not, it is something that happens in every group and it is a human reaction such as creating the usual dynamics of value competition within the group itself. Nothing new I would say, and the other risk is not really believing that this technique works just because you can't see anything. Just like putting your hands on a table instead of on a person, since it is now established by many parties that thought, speech, work, the body, are nothing more than different states of the same energy.

The higher the frequency, the less dense and therefore visible, the lower the frequency, the more visible and physical or condensed, as the good guys say. Since our eye is accustomed only to seeing certain frequencies, we don’t see the superior ones, and the mind says: “What I do not see is not there”, it does not exist. Since, as many teachers teach, we are identified with the mind, we believe what it says, and if it says that what you do not see is not there, for the ego that thing is not there. Too bad the wind, however, does not see itself and goes where it wants, and what we see are the effects. Here this technique is comparable to the wind, you don't see where it goes, you see what it does.

And what is finally the responsibility that I mentioned before? Another type of energy, even higher: that of Faith, what is Faith? It is believing without seeing. They told me: "if this technique can give anything, it is this: you don't see it, but you see the effects". So maybe it is you, but this cannot be because the technique works for and with everyone, and then it is not you, but something that is in front of you, within you, beyond you and that acts freely, because it is free, given to all without distinction. This means that this technique is the possibility of seeing, through its effects, what each person can do when placed in a state of inner peace, of egalitarianism, of silence of the mind.

That is the real and concrete possibility of seeing the source from which we all come and return, in action on us, through us, that -as if it were an accelerator- Faith, aware of this presence in us, acts, with sweet power, and silent harmony, things that make me think only of impersonal Love.
